I'm rarin' to go!

After a prolonged and unanticipated vacation, it is now time to pull out all the stops and again become a contributing and vital member of a company's IT group.

I have a great deal of experience managing IT infrastructure -- in my case, Windows-based after a few years early in my career managing Novell networks -- and in managing corporate technical helpdesk environments.

In addition to the technical expertise needed to do a great job in this arena, one needs to have developed the leadership skills and the passion for delivering amazing service. Even as I have been without a job, I have continued to learn more about what it takes to be a good manager, how a good manager can inspire through insightful leadership, and I have continued my technical education into the areas of network engineering and enterprise security.

If you know of someone who could use my help, regardless of their location, please let me know. I will happily follow up and drop your name like crazy while doing so. If you prefer to have your contact reach out to me, I'm ready and willing to talk to anyone from whom I can learn more about my passion. And, heck, if they have a job lead too, great!
